Elite Beauty College (EBC) is an innovative beauty school in the Muskogee area educating students in the study of Cosmetology, Esthetics, Nail Technician, and Master Instructor programs. A proud PIVOT POINT MEMBER SCHOOL®, EBC’s education supersedes traditional cosmetology education programs. With a new modern facility and spacious salon area that boasts separate areas for shampooing, manicures, pedicures, and spa facilities. Our attention to detail ensures students have what’s needed to succeed and puts EBC in an “Elite” category for cosmetology education. At EBC students will be trained in basic cosmetology strategies, with emphasis routinely placed on hosting student competitions in fantasy makeup, fantasy hair, and advanced nail art. Giving students the opportunity to showcase their talents to assist them in becoming industry-ready.

EBC also provides a plethora of product and vendor demonstrations, out-of-classroom experiences as well as community services that help develop professionalism and community interactions that help build businesses. COSMETOLOGY

Cosmetology prepares you for an exciting career utilizing your own creativity and entrepreneurial skills. From the moment you step into the state-of-the-art classroom and full-service salon, you will begin hands-on instruction toward a career that can provide a profitable and rewarding experience. The program prepares you for a career as a licensed cosmetologist, manicurist, or esthetician. The practical experience provided by the program helps you become prepared to take the State Board of Cosmetology licensing exam. The ten-to-twelve-month Cosmetology Certificate Program provides students with the knowledge and skills required to pass the state test for licensing in Cosmetology. Through classes, labs, and working at the Salon at EBC, along with an in-depth study of state rules and sanitation guidelines, students prepare to launch thriving careers.

ESTHETICS

600 Clock Hours

The Esthetician Certificate Program trains students to enter a rapidly growing field with job opportunities in salons, day spas, medical spas, or cruise ships. To help others maintain healthy, glowing skin, estheticians provide facial treatments, peels, masks, and scrubs. They may also provide facial hair removal treatments, such as waxing, or apply makeup for special occasions. The four and one-half month Esthetician Certificate Program provides students with the knowledge and skills required to pass the state test for licensing in esthetics. Through classes, labs, and working at the Salon at EBC, along with an in-depth study of state rules and sanitation guidelines, students prepare to launch thriving careers.

NAIL TECHNICIAN

Nail services are the ultimate in pampered hand and foot care. The Nail Technician Certificate is attractive to people with creativity, visual perception, and good interpersonal skills. Students develop nail technician skills in the classroom and simulated salon setting and will have the opportunity to showcase their work in nail competitions. Coursework covers laws, regulations, business management, and ethics to help students who may want to start their own business The three-month Nail Tech Certificate Program provides students with the knowledge and skills required to pass the state test for licensing in nails. Through classes, labs and working at the Salon at EBC, along with an in-depth study of state rules and sanitation guidelines, students prepare to launch thriving and creative careers.

MASTER INSTRUCTOR

At EBC we offer a cosmetology teacher training program that prepares passionate beauty professionals to apply their skills as instructors. The cosmetology instructor training program focuses on making future instructors comfortable teaching theory, grading students’ work, and properly preparing their students to pass the state board examination and become licensed cosmetologists.
